Belatrix Software Discusses The Changing Software Industry With Silicon Valley’s Best Known Startups
SAN FRANCISCO (PRWEB) February 14, 2018 -- Belatrix Software, a leading software development company, met with the founders and executives of some of Silicon Valley’s most valuable and high-potential software startups to share insights and best practices. Alex Robbio, President and Co-Founder of Belatrix, and Pablo Lecea, Director of the Technical Consulting Team, held meetings with the management and founders of companies, including household names such as Zendesk, Zoom and Marketo.
Investors such as Jason Green, who backed trail-blazing software-as-a-service (SaaS) companies including Salesforce, Veeva, Box, and Yammer, provided insight into the current SaaS landscape. Other participants included Aaron Levie, the CEO and Co-Founder of Box, Mikkel Zvane, Founder and CEO of Zendesk, and Armando Mann, VP of Sales and Client Success of SalesforceIQ. Eric Yuan, Founder and CEO of Zoom, also attended, speaking about Zoom’s decision to build a flat organizational structure, and how he continually strives to build a high-performance culture, generate sales, and maintain a relentless focus on product innovation.
The meetings were arranged by the entrepreneurial organization Endeavor. Endeavor aims to bring together high-potential startups to create ecosystems, where founders can share advice. So far Endeavor entrepreneurs have created over 700,000 jobs globally, including in the United States, and generated over $10 billion in revenue in 2016 alone. Belatrix was accepted into the Endeavor network back in 2013. Marcos Galperin, Co-Founder and CEO, of MercadoLibre, was one of the judges in the selection panel that originally selected Belatrix as a high-potential company in the Endeavor network, following in the footsteps of MercadoLibre.
During the meetings, amidst the wealth of information and advice, several key themes emerged. As Alex Robbio commented after the event, “Among the discussions, the importance of customer retention was mentioned time and time again. As the costs of customer acquisition in the software industry rise and rise, the only way to achieve high levels of growth is to have an unrelenting focus on retaining and growing your existing customer base.”
“We also discussed the importance of building a high-performance team, and a culture which will enable the company to thrive. Building this culture requires the focus and attention of both an experienced HR executive, but also needs to be owned by everyone in the company. This is something which has been one of our top priorities since we founded Belatrix.”
“On behalf of Belatrix, I’d like to thank Endeavor for arranging the meetings, and also for the founders and other executives for sharing their insights with us.”
