Now with the added integration of eSignatures Manager, Contracts Manager streamlines the entire contract lifecycle from authoring to redlines to approvals including legally binding electronic signatures that can be securely forwarded internally or externally for processing” stated Dr. Sanjaya Kumar

PolicyMedical, a leading provider of web-based governance, risk, and compliance software for healthcare, today announced the addition of eSignatures Manager to its Contracts Manager solution, a SaaS-based contract lifecycle management solution designed specifically for healthcare facilities. The integrated proprietary eSignatures module enables a comprehensive electronic signatures workflow for Contracts Manager users in compliance with United States Electronic Signatures in Global and National Commerce (ESIGN) Act, the Uniform Electronic Transactions Act (UETA), and the US Life Sciences FDA Regulations 21 CFR Part 11.

Using eSignature Manager assigned signing managers can now select the required signers and the type of signature elements required for each document, including the position on the page and other details such as company name, date, etc. All electronic signatures are time and date stamped with detailed audit logs. The eSignatures workflow also includes automatic triggering of real-time email notifications with embedded links for signers to complete signing documents assigned to them for greater productivity gains and shortening the execution time frame.

“As healthcare organizations look to reduce operational costs and increase staff productivity, automating traditional paper-based processes such as contract management enables them to improve the quality of contracts, stop overpayments and eliminate missed contractual obligations and benefits. Now with the added integration of eSignatures Manager, Contracts Manager streamlines the entire contract lifecycle from authoring to redlines to approvals including legally binding electronic signatures that can be securely forwarded internally or externally for processing,” stated Dr. Sanjaya Kumar, MD, Chief Medical Officer and Product Strategist, at PolicyMedical.

Contracts Manager enables contract professionals, legal counsel, and healthcare administrators to quickly create or import existing contracts, manage them and store them securely in one centralized repository where they can be searched, analyzed, and organized. Designed to simplify and streamline the management of all contracts the software fully automates configurable workflows, enables real time collaboration with third parties via remote access capabilities, and integrates with Microsoft Word. Reporting and analytics provide visibility into the overall contract portfolio such as expiration dates, flagging payments due or owed, contracts with specific vendors, etc.
