One of the nation’s leading plating companies has added new services utilizing computer programming for exact inputs and precision.

Industry experts agree that a company that listens to its customers is a company that cares about its customers. In response to customer requests, Clearwater, Florida-based Sun Glo Plating Company announced that it is now offering CNC machining services.

“We have been asked many times over the past 10 years or so, why hasn’t Sun Glo get into machining. There never seemed to be the right time to dive into that pool. We have dove head first into that pool now,” said Dave Brackenhamer, director of business development and spokesman for Sun-Glo Plating Company.

Sun Glo, which was awarded merit during its last Nadcap Management Council Audit for chemical processing, according to Brackenhamer, has invested $1.6 million over the past year and a half in CNC equipment.

“We can offer quotes on small parts with high volume from two of our Swiss machines,” Brackenhamer explained, before adding, “We can quote your milled parts for any of our multiple vertical mills, along with a 500MM horizontal mill. We also have three dual spindle lathes with live tooling along with two large lathes able to turn a 36-inch diameter and 6-feet long piece. We currently are running two shifts, so turnaround of your parts will not be a problem. After we have them machined, we can then take them across our parking lot and electroplate, anodize, conversion coat, powder coat or wet paint them right here in our complex.”

Brackenhamer went on to point out that Sun Glo Plating Company has more than 30 years of experience providing expert advice for both small and industrial sized clients. Its team brings decades of experience in delivering a quality product for to clients.

“Our team ensures your products are best in class, meets all the required specifications and are held to the highest standards,” Brackenhamer said. “There’s no need for multiple POs to be written. There’s no need to bring the parts back into your facility to have parts inspected before issuing another PO to send the parts back out for finishing; no squabbling between your machine shop and your plating facility about who is late or which company damaged your parts. With us, your problems are resolved with one company able to take care of your CNC machining and finishing needs.”

The company spokesman went on to invite everyone to send Sun Glo their RFQs.

“We would be more than happy to quote your parts for you,” Brackenhamer said.
