Robert E. Grant chronicles the divine interventions that changed his life

He was only a toddler at the time, but Robert E. Grant remembers the day when a local family court split up his family. Grant’s single mother saw two of her children sent to Dallas County and another moved to Hurst, Texas. Her youngest, Robert, was bounced among foster homes until finally landing in Richland Hills, Texas.

It was only through the miracle of God that Robert reunited with his family 40 years later. He now outlines the path that the Lord placed in front of him to help find his way home in “Touched by the Finger of God: The Heartfelt True Story of a Faithful Believer.”

“Touched by the Finger of God” shares a difficult upbringing for Robert. He spares no detail in sharing the conditions that led to his family’s disbandment. Upon official adoption by the Grant family, Robert faced the ups and downs of adjusting to his new family and surroundings. Throughout it all, God remained a constant for him, providing comfort and reassurance along the way.

Years later, Robert would search for his long-lost family, and upon finding them, he learned they had been searching for him too. He credits the Lord for the reunion and encourages readers to trust in God the way he did. Robert’s story also highlights the benefits of adoption and shows it is a far better alternative to abortion.

“My story is proof that God does exist and the He is intimately involved in our lives,” Grant said. “Touched by the Finger of God also provides guidance to those who are considering adopting or those adoptees who are searching for their biological families. God will lead you down these paths.”
