(PRWEB) February 22, 2018 -- Port St. Pete, the only superyacht marina on Florida’s Gulf Coast, and the Municipal Marina, Florida’s largest centrally-located marina, announce the promotion of David Wirth to Marina and Port Manager for the city of St. Petersburg. The promotion was effective January 12.
Wirth will oversee daily operations and maintenance of both facilities, including a major renovation of the Municipal Marina, scheduled to begin in 2019. “Since joining the Marina and Port St. Pete team, David has gained senior level knowledge which will make him invaluable as we move forward with the Marina renovation project,” said Chris Ballestra, the city’s Managing Director of Development.
Wirth will also be charged with developing relationships with superyacht owners and captains to position Port St. Pete as a superyacht docking destination.
