“Our mentors teach their apprentices the MaintenX Way, which is a culture of respect, service, and safety.”

MaintenX International takes providing excellent service seriously. Each technician receives on-site training, as well as a year of hands-on mentorship, to learn the business and culture before becoming a certified MaintenX technician. This training ensures technicians are equipped with the necessary skills and experience to engage in the multitude of maintenance tasks MaintenX provides.

“After a week of on-site training, our apprentice technicians are assigned a mentor,” said Mary Ann Velez, MaintenX’s Director of National Service. “Our mentors teach their apprentices the MaintenX Way, which is a culture of respect, service, and safety. We believe sharing our culture is as critical as technical training.”

Many apprentices begin training by observing a mentor. Only after hours of observing, learning, and listening will an apprentice be tasked a project of their own.

“Undergoing training definitely taught me patience,” said Joseph Labriola, a former apprentice now a MaintenX mentor himself. “My time as an apprentice helped me become a more efficient and productive technician, once I took on my own projects.”

For more than 35 years, MaintenX International has been providing businesses across the nation with superior maintenance support. For more information about MaintenX, or to learn about becoming a MaintenX apprentice, visit http://www.maintenx.com.
