Business Aviation Services Provider Desert Jet Reports Record Growth Across Its Companies in 2017, And Continues Momentum Into 2018
PALM SPRINGS, Calif. (PRWEB) February 20, 2018 -- Leading business aviation services company Desert Jet reports a remarkable year-over-year growth in 2017 to its charter, FBO and maintenance businesses, with revenues increasing 100%.
Desert Jet added four new aircraft to its charter fleet last year – including three super-mid-sized jets – and saw an upsurge reflecting 40% increase in charter flight hours and 62% increase in charter revenue.
Desert Jet Center, the company’s Fixed Base Operation (FBO) also reported significant growth after a year-and-a-half of operations. Desert Jet Center is currently under construction of its new 32,000 sq. ft. executive terminal at the Jacqueline Cochran Regional Airport in Palm Springs/Thermal, California. Desert Jet Center increased traffic to the airport by 17% and captured 35% total market share in 2017. The FBO also reported a huge increase in customer service reviews with more than 10 times as many 5-star reviews to industry sites such as Airnav, Fltplan.com and Foreflight, designating Desert Jet Center as the highest customer service rated FBO in the greater Palm Springs/Thermal area. Desert Jet Center also became the only IS-BAH registered FBO in the entire region in 2017.
Desert Jet Maintenance, the company’s Cessna Citation-specialized FAA Part 145 Certified Repair Station, saw double-digit growth in the last quarter of 2017, added significant AOG capabilities on every airframe type, and again earned the FAA Diamond Award of Excellence.
