"We cannot continue to elect individuals who believe it is their job to rule rather than serve. In Washington since 1992, first as a staffer and then as a 10-term Congressman, Paul Ryan has changed. He no longer proves to represent the values of his fellow Americans."

Nick Polce, a Republican candidate for the 1st Congressional District of Wisconsin 2018 election, is part of the freedom movement sweeping the nation. Polce, along with fellow freedom candidates nationwide, is looking to restore the power to the American people by removing career politicians from office in Washington D.C.

Husband, father, business owner, former U.S. Army Green Beret and combat veteran: Nick Polce is no stranger to difficulty. This campaign against career politician Paul Ryan isn’t going to be easy, but Polce is encouraged and looks forward to the challenge.

Polce’s philosophy is as follows: “You get six years in the House and six years in the Senate. That’s it. This model is based off how Special Forces teams work and prepare the next generation of leaders. In Washington, we need to focus on the long term goals instead of the short term – getting re-elected. Less focus on ‘me, me, me’ and more focus on ‘how do I best take care of my constituents and prepare the next person?”

Polce is looking to bring back the concept of the citizen statesman, where the individual that goes to Washington works to serve the interest of the citizens of his district, then returns to the private sector while another representative goes in their place. Mr. Polce believes in returning to the idea of the servant leader so that the decisions made in Washington are in the best interest of the American people.

He no longer proves to represent the values of his fellow Americans. He makes decisions based off what is best for his political career instead of what is best for Americans and the 1st District.” – Nick Polce

During his campaign, Polce has demonstrated that his intentions are to serve the citizens of the 1st Congressional District of Wisconsin. His campaign efforts have been focused on listening to their concerns and answering their questions.
