Doherty brings to Itential more than 15 years of enterprise IT sales experience that will help the company further expand its unique approach to automating networks to a broader market of service providers and enterprise networks.

In his new role, Doherty will help expand this approach to new customers who need programmable, dynamic networks that can be created and optimized in seconds, rather than days or weeks. Doherty’s experience with building and leading innovative sales programs spans a successful track record with Red Hat, EnterpriseDB, Progress Software and NGINX. His efforts have driven double-digit growth with multiple organizations.
Before joining Itential, Doherty was head of enterprise sales for NGINX, one of the world’s top web servers, where he established and grew a sales team that in one year doubled revenue, nearly tripled the company’s average deal size and helped deliver dozens of new $1 billion customers.
