“I believe that Visual Crossing is a real value add on top of what SAP Lumira brings off the shelf for GEO analyses. Some features are really impressive and not seen before,” said Iver van de Zand, SAP Global Head of Analytics & Leonardo presales.

Visual Crossing Corporation is proud to announce that its Mapping and Geospatial Analysis Suite is now available on the SAP App Center store where it can be downloaded as a free trial or purchased as an individual or enterprise license.

As an SAP certified solution, the Visual Crossing mapping extensions for both SAP Lumira Designer and SAP Lumira Discovery provide sophisticated maps and spatial analytics directly within SAP’s most popular data analysis tools. Within the SAP Lumira Designer interface, users can easily add powerful, interactive maps using their existing data directly into their business dashboards. These maps can either be analyzed locally or shared in a BusinessObjects enterprise environment to deploy to a team or an entire enterprise.

March webinar series open for registration

In order to educate users and evaluators about the powerful analytics that Visual Crossing maps can bring to SAP business data, Visual Crossing will conduct a series of free webinars. In these sessions Visual Crossing experts will show how to use mapping and spatial analysis to increase the return on investment for both existing and new SAP deployments. The first webinar in the series will showcase the power of Visual Crossing within SAP Lumira Discovery. Users will learn how to configure their existing data for mapping within Discovery dashboards and see how to do spatial analysis live with real-world business examples.

The SAP Lumira Designer session will show how placing a Visual Crossing map within Designer is as easy as adding a grid or graph. Once integrated into a dashboard, the Visual Crossing map is fully interactive for spatial analysis as well as being able to interact with other dashboard components such as grid and graphs through data binding and filtering. Users of both the latest SAP Lumira Designer as well as SAP BusinessObjects Design Studio will be able to see how their new and existing documents can easily add the power of mapping. This will be demonstrated via real-world use cases drawn from Visual Crossing’s fifteen-year history as a premier business data mapping solution.

Free webinar sign-up is available only for a limited time

The SAP Lumira Discovery webinar will be held on March 1, 2018 at 12:00 noon Eastern US time for North American attendees and on March 6 at 1200 Central European Time for European and world-wide audiences. The SAP Lumira Designer and Design Studio session will be held on March 8 at 12:00 noon US Eastern time for North America and on March 13 at 1200 Central European Time for Europeans and world-wide. Registration for each session is limited and is exclusively available via the following sign-up link: http://www.visualcrossing.com/webinar-signup. Those interested in attending are encouraged to sign up as soon as possible to ensure their reservation.

“Given the tremendous interest that we’ve seen in deploying true enterprise-grade maps and spatial analysis, we are confident that many SAP Lumira users will be able to benefit greatly from these webinars. Our extensive experience in enterprise business mapping, puts Visual Crossing in a unique position to offer webinar attendees an interesting set of real-world mapping use cases that can add real and immediate value to common business data. I’m certain that everyone who makes the time to attend will come away with business mapping knowledge that they can use in their own SAP Lumira analysis, whether they choose to use Visual Crossing or another mapping tool,” said Sam Helwig, Director of Engineering and SAP Product Lead for Visual Crossing.
