TERIS Completes a SOC 2® Attestation Examination in Conformity with Trust Services Criteria for the Security Principle
(PRWEB) February 22, 2018 -- TERIS is pleased to announce the successful completion of its SOC 2® - System and Organization Controls (SOC) for Service Organizations attestation for its litigation support services system.The SOC 2® audit provides additional assurance regarding vendor controls that relate to operations and compliance relevant to one or more of the following five principles: security, availability, processing integrity, confidentiality and privacy. The audit examined TERIS’ system description and the trust services criteria for the security principle and related control activities. The SOC 2® engagement was conducted by an independent Certified Public Accounting firm under the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants’ criteria for the security principle set forth in TSP section 100, Trust Services Principles and Criteria.
The successful completion of this voluntary attestation demonstrates TERIS’ continuous dedication to creating and maintaining the most stringent and effective operating controls for the protection and security of its client’s data stored on TERIS’ software solutions and hardware, and in its server room.
