Okuma America Corporation Rewards Employees with One-Time Special Payment
CHARLOTTE, N.C. (PRWEB) February 20, 2018 -- The management team of Okuma America Corporation, a world leading builder of CNC machine tools, believes that recent actions taken by the United States Congress and President will have a positive impact on growth throughout the country. Lower personal income and corporate taxes typically spur investments in capital, employees and shareholders.
Recognizing the implications of the new tax structure as well as the company’s strong fiscal performance to date, the Okuma America management team is pleased to announce that it will grant each of the company’s 200 plus employees a $1,000 one-time, special payment to be paid in the first quarter of 2018.
Jim King, the company’s President & COO, expressed his sentiment regarding this opportunity; “The new tax regulations and a strong economy afford us the opportunity to recognize and reward our greatest asset – our people. It is also an opportunity for us to demonstrate two of our key corporate values – operating with generous intent and valuing meaningful partnerships with our employees."
Okuma America Corporation is pleased to join other U.S. companies which have chosen to reinvest in their workforce and further strengthen the bond between employer and employee.
