National Association of Professional Women Inducts Lisa Lovell, President/CEO of Alabaster Construction Services, Into its VIP Professional Woman of the Year Circle

As President and CEO of Alabaster Construction Services, LLC, in Newark, NJ, Ms. Lovell uses her more than 25 years of experience in construction management as she oversees the day-to-day operations of a multitude of construction projects, including residential, commercial and industrial structures, as well as roads, schools, hospitals and religious buildings. Ms. Lovell expertly manages multi-million dollar projects from inception to completion, handling all aspects of the build, including budgeting and finance, hiring and managing contractors and other personnel, and purchasing and invoicing.
In addition to her expansive experience in construction management, which includes working for private, state and federal agencies, Ms. Lovell has developed two software packages and is looking forward to completing the patents and bringing them to market. She is also in the process of expanding her business, adding electrical and general contracting to the many services Alabaster Construction Services provides.
Ms. Lovell has a Master’s in Business Administration from Rutgers Graduate School of Business and a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Prairie View A&M University in Texas. She is also an Adjunct Professor of Construction/Project Management at Fairleigh Dickinson University’s School of Engineering in Teaneck, NJ.
