CME Outfitters to Premiere Live Webcast on Team Approach in Improving Outcomes in Rheumatoid Arthritis
Bethesda, MD (PRWEB) February 22, 2018 -- CME Outfitters (CMEO) is excited to announce an upcoming Live and On Demand Webcast entitled, A Team Approach to Improving Outcomes in Rheumatoid Arthritis: Clinicians, Patients, and Digital Health Coaches, featuring expert faculty, moderator Leonard H. Calabrese, DO, and Stanley B. Cohen, MD. This live webcast, supported by an educational grant from Pfizer Inc., will premiere on Thursday, March 22, 2018 from 12:00 – 1:30pm ET, with a taped re-air from 4:00 – 5:30pm ET.
Over 1.3 million Americans in the United States are affected by a chronic inflammatory disease known as rheumatoid arthritis (RA). There are currently many treatment options available to treat RA, which can be used as monotherapy, sequential treatment strategies, or as combination treatment. It’s imperative that clinicians are aware of the various treatments strategies outlined in the ACR guidelines and clinical evidence that supports these treat-to-target approaches to successfully treat their patients with RA. Managing RA is complex and requires the entire treatment team – clinician, patient, and digital health coaches – to maximize the benefits of existing treatment approaches, incorporate new treatments when appropriate, and ensure the health care needs of all RA patients are met.
This live, interactive webcast will feature audio input from patients with RA, video interviews from RA team care members at the Cleveland Clinic, and a panel discussion moderated by Leonard Calabrese, DO. At the conclusion of the webcast, the expert faculty panel will answer questions from the audience.
Pre-registration is now open for this CE activity, and there is no fee to sign up. For more information or to register, click here.
