The first-to-market ad unit drove an 87 percent lift in engagement when compared to traditional click-through ads.
The AI-powered chatbot ad elicits online shoppers to engage with Emirates Vacations by asking trip-planning questions and then recommending trip destinations and vacation packages based on shoppers’ context and real-time intent.
The ads are powered by WayBlazer’s travel recommendation platform, which uses conversational commerce and artificial intelligence to personalize the digital shopping experience. The ads draw on publisher content, user intent and preferences as well as advertiser inventory to personalize and contextualize recommendations. Upon engagement, the chatbot can prompt users to take action on the Emirates Vacations’ website or escalate the conversation to a human representative if needed.
