Author Marcus Rogers’s Newly Released “Through the Fire to Be on Fire” Reveals Why God Allows His Children to Suffer and Why They Must Choose to Endure the Fire
FT. CAMPBELL, Ky. (PRWEB) February 28, 2018 -- “Through the Fire to Be on Fire”: a revealing look into why people must struggle with the trials and tribulations of life. “Through the Fire to Be on Fire” is the creation of published author, Marcus Rogers. Marcus grew up in Chicago with his mother, sister, and two brothers. They lived in a shelter for a year before his mother could find her own apartment. Due to the constant violence at his school, his mother chose to home school him from the fifth grade on. Marcus has worked full time since the age of eleven. He did minor maintenance, construction, and cleaning in his apartment complexes. At the age of eighteen, he joined the US Army. He was deployed to Baghdad, Iraq where he served twelve months on Force Protection. He returned to the States for about a year and a half before he was deployed to Kandahar, Afghanistan for another twelve months. Due to his constant deployment and his backsliding lifestyle, he ended up getting a divorce. He later remarried shortly before he was deployed to South Korea. It was during this period in his life that God started working to give Marcus Roger purpose.
"I went through many trials, heartbreaks, letdowns and storms, but God was faithful through it all. God gave me a new perspective on why certain things had to happen in my life, and though those many lessons and trials my motto was born, “Through the fire to be on fire.” This book was birthed from the fires I have endured, and I hope it will bring you through the ones you face as well." --Marcus Rogers
Published by Christian Faith Publishing, Marcus Rogers’s new book reveals the choice everyone must make when struggling with the fires of life.
Marcus Rogers has been through abuse, divorce, betrayal, financial hardship, military deployments, job loss, heartbreak, death, suicide, insecurity, anxiety, and temptation. He has overcome some trials and failed at others. When he was younger, Marcus felt God hated him and wanted to punish him. Only after he broke free of the religious motions and truly entered into a relationship with Jesus did he understand why he had to experience the fires of life.
There are reasons why people must struggle in life. All people incur pain for a reason. There is a story being written. There is a testimony being formed. The difference between success and failure is learning how to get comfortable inside the fire. People must learn how to survive the fires of life. The only way to do this is by having the proper mindset. Being victorious in the fire is a choice and it is a choice that must be made before life can get better.
