Hands-Free Invention Effortlessly Cleans Your Brushes to Promote Beautiful Skin

Nessa Brush Spa (, offers a way for American women to improve their skincare routine by cleaning their makeup brushes. The Nessa Brush Spa is the first 100% hands-free makeup brush cleaning system that simplifies the brush cleaning process. Available starting today on Indiegogo, Nessa Brush Spa is offered at an introductory launch price of $99 until April 13th. The product is expected to ship in the fall of 2018, in time for the holiday shopping season.

More than half of American women who use makeup brushes clean them less than once a month or not at all, because it’s a time consuming and frustrating process. The most common reasons for not cleaning makeup brushes are: 22% of women surveyed feel it takes too long to clean them or for the brushes to dry, 19% spend money on new brushes and 17% don’t know how to clean them. One in five women weren’t aware that they needed to clean the brushes.

Designed by Hollywood producer and makeup artist Christine Duell, Nessa Brush Spa makes cleaning brushes an effortless experience that can be done every week. Dirty makeup brushes contain dead skin cells, oils, skin mites, and harmful bacteria which cause acne breakouts and dry, dull makeup application. Dermatologists recommend that women clean their makeup brushes every week or at least every other week.

“I’ve been obsessed with skincare and beauty products since I was a little girl, so it’s been an exciting process to create the Nessa Brush Spa to help women look and feel their best,” said Christine Duell, creator and founder of the Nessa Brush Spa. “Nessa means ‘pure’ in Scottish and ‘powerful and beautiful women’ in Irish-- those sentiments represent our product, brand and my heritage.”

Features and Pricing:
Nessa Brush Spa is specifically engineered to remove all the inconveniences of having to clean makeup brushes by hand and wait for them to dry. The compact housing design easily fits on any bathroom counter, vanity, or in a cabinet. The technology is easy to use with three simple steps – insert the cleaning solution and pad, add the brushes and then press the start button. The brushes are sprayed with a specially formulated cleaning solution while the bristles rotate on the spa mat until all of the makeup has been removed. Upon completion of the cleaning cycle, the brushes disengage and hang to dry, allowing them to return to their original shape. In less than an hour, the brushes are clean and ready for use.

Nessa Brush Spa is made of cruelty-free materials that are designed in California. The $99 launch special includes the Nessa Brush Spa, 6 professional makeup brushes, a 16oz bottle of cleaning solution, and a set of cleaning pads (with a retail value of over $200). The synthetic brushes are custom designed for the Nessa Brush Spa and you’ll never have to worry about cleaning your brushes again or destroying them in the process. A monthly subscription plan will also be offered for additional cleaning solution and pads, along with exciting specials such as free makeup brushes.

“I was completely amazed by how this works. Nessa Brush Spa is quick and effortless, which is great because I’m lazy and don’t like to clean my brushes,” said Alex Maynard of Los Angeles, CA.
