“I've Been Through The Fire; And I Don't Even Smell Like Smoke”: a story to inspire hope in those struggling to overcome the hardships in their lives. “I've Been Through The Fire; And I Don't Even Smell Like Smoke” is the creation of published author, Diana Mauricio. Formally from California, Diana has lived in Aurora, Colorado for five years. She hopes to travel and tell people all over the world about what God has done for her. Her message is, “If He did it for her, He will do it for you!” She hopes to teach others about a powerful God who has answers. She is married to a wonderful Christian man. She has three beautiful children who all live in California.
“The purpose for writing this book is to let people know no matter what they have gone through, there is hope and a light at the end of the tunnel. I would have lost all hope many times in my life, but something inside of me said someday my life will be happy. My latter days will be greater than the former. I held on to that belief. With God all things are possible to them who believe! You’ll get there if you don’t give up! My heart no longer aches because of the things that have happened to me. The hurt, rejection, bitterness, and anger are all gone. I have been restored. I can now believe that God can love me, and I receive His love. He has brought me into a deep, intimate relationship with the person of Jesus. I pray you rise higher and overcome every obstacle in your life, and that He help you to forget your trouble.” --Diana Mauricio
Published by Christian Faith Publishing, Diana Mauricio’s new book is a story to help others find hope as they struggle to overcome the hardships in their lives.
Diana Mauricio was born on the day Disneyland opened, but her home would not be the happiest land on Earth. Born to a teenage mother, she would experience the turmoil of a broken marriage. Her father was an alcoholic while her mother simply devoted herself to any man who would pay attention to her. She would experience neglect and be sexual abused by several father figures. At a young age, she would become a model, which offered her several opportunities, but exposed her to many dangers.
Her life would be filled with a great deal of heartache, yet she would also experience a great deal of joy and love. She would struggle and find success. In the face of all her hardships, she would eventually find herself in the loving arms of God. She would learn that the most important and intimate relationship she could have was with Jesus Christ. Through it all, she would find hope and happiness from God.
