The comparative analysis by School Services of California, Inc., Salary and Benefits Report (SABRE), lists detailed salary, benefit, and total compensation data for school district statewide averages, county averages, and districts in Contra Costa County. The report includes unified school districts, elementary school districts, and high school districts. In terms of total compensation, which includes salary and a district's average contribution for teachers’ health benefits, Pittsburg Unified School District came in at $68,044 for BA+30 Step 1, $90,151 for BA+60 Step 10, and $108,024 for Maximum Salary. These are the highest among the unified school districts in Contra Costa County, and are also well above the regional and comparative group averages.
