Bikram S. Sohal, a seasoned entrepreneur and technology business leader, has been appointed Head of StartApp India. Mr. Sohal brings over 20 years of experience working with leading companies in the Asia-Pacific region, focusing on business development, product strategy and global sales management in the digital media, technology and e-commerce industries.
Prior to joining StartApp, Mr. Sohal was the CEO & Co-Founder of GoSavvy, a mobile commerce marketplace for unsold hospitality inventory. He was also the Vice President & General Manager of Turner Broadcasting in Hong Kong, leading the global expansion of CNNGo, a digital travel business. Sohal was also previously the General Manager of APAC Portal Operations for AOL where he launched AOL products and digital media brands across Asia Pacific.
