A Playful, Portable, and Developmental Teether Toy Will Revolutionize Your Baby’s Teething Experience
CHICAGO (PRWEB) February 27, 2018 -- Today, POPPIES launches on the crowd-funding site, Kickstarter. Starting from $25 for a limited edition early bird special, POPPIES is a versatile teething toy that combines playful shapes, sensory textures, and entertaining sounds to soothe aching gums and stimulate development in babies.
POPPIES’ patent-protected design aids both fine motor skills and cognitive development. By adding suction cups to the teether, babies enjoy unlimited play on any non-porous surface through creating entertaining sounds and learning cause and effect. The suction cups also assist in the teething process by massaging the gum lines to help baby teeth ‘pop’ through the skin.
“Teething is a painful and long process for children. When an infant is teething, he or she can become fussier than normal because the gum is sore and swells,” explains Jenny Bartels. “POPPIES gently massages an infant’s gum to help baby teeth ‘pop’ through the skin and relieve the pain created when teeth push through the surface. But, more than that, with its unique suction cup design, POPPIES allows for endless creative play in younger children to aid in a child’s physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development.”
Designed with parents and children in mind, POPPIES is small enough for on-the-go travel and flexible enough for little hands to grip and hold, and it does not trap water– which means you never have to worry about mold. All POPPIES teethers are light enough to hook onto clothing with a pacifier clip, making it easily accessible for children. It will also be made in America using medical grade BPA FREE, PVC FREE silicone.
“We know the value that POPPIES brought to our family. It not only provided play and comfort for our daughter Poppy and son Gus but it helped create an enjoyable experience for us as parents,” said Ross Bartels, creator of POPPIES. “We want to help make teething fun for every new family, so we created this campaign in order to raise the capital to bring this product to market.’
POPPIES has created some fantastic rewards in their campaign. Two limited edition reward packages have even made the most incredible dream come true. POPPIES will professionally photograph your child playing with the teether toy and will include your little girl’s or guy’s picture on the initial run of packaging. Other rewards include branded long sleeve shirts, long sleeve onesies, a printable milestone teething poster, a personalized thank you, and more.
Once POPPIES meets its funding goal on Kickstarter, the product will go into production. The first shipment of POPPIES is expected to occur in July of 2018.
