corecubed President/CEO Merrily Orsini has been selected from hundreds of home care industry applicants to serve on the National Association for Home Care & Hospice (NAHC) 2.0 committee. Orsini will serve with two other delegates on the Industry Support Sector of the committee. This sector includes consultants, technology companies of all types, and anyone providing a service or commodity to the home care industry.

As a committee member, Orsini will play a key roll in the NAHC 2.0 strategic planning process. This process is driven by the home care and hospice communities and is intended to create a stronger, smarter, and better association capable of leading the industry in the 21st century.

“It is an honor to have been selected to be a part of this process,” says Orsini. “NAHC is interested in transformational change to its organization, taking advantage of the leadership and expertise of their new permanent president, Bill Dombi. The home-based care industry is poised for the future as the burgeoning senior population’s care needs increase. Overwhelmingly, people wish to receive care in their own homes, and NAHC has been the leader in the industry for more than 50 years.”

The NAHC 2.0 committee will help interpret data gathered by THRUUE, Inc., which has conducted an in-depth current state assessment and interviews with current and former members of the association, and identify potential goals for NAHC’s strategic plan.
