Lyman Orchards Golf Swings Into Action; Opens for Season March 1
MIDDLEFIELD, Conn. (PRWEB) March 01, 2018 -- This season, swing comes before spring at Lyman Orchards’ Golf Club, where the two world-class, 18-hole courses and the nine-hole Apple Nine course are open for the season on Saturday, March 3. The driving ranges at both the Golf Club and The Golf Center will open in the coming weeks.
Lyman Orchards’ Golf Club will offer early season pricing to help shake the winter doldrums off your swing. On the Player course, the fees are $35 weekdays and $45 on weekends. Fees for the Jones course are $39 weekdays and $49 on weekends.
The 18-hole Jones Course, designed by renowned golf course architect Robert Trent Jones, features rolling hills on the front nine and varying dog-legs on the back. The only classically styled, public Jones course in the state, it meanders through acres of woodlands, wetlands and grasslands.
The Player -- the only world-class, 18-hole, public Player course in Connecticut -- is ideal for all skill levels, and features scenic views of Connecticut. Dotted with deciduous trees and classic white pines, the course takes players through apple orchards and offers ample elevation changes throughout.
The Apple Nine a par-29 course was ranked as the top Par 3 course in Connecticut and 10th overall in New England by New England Golf Monthly magazine, and it provides a unique learning and playing experience for all levels and ages of golfers.
Learn to play at the Lyman Orchards Golf Center, the number one instructional facility in the state, offering individual lessons, as well as women's and junior's teaching programs. The women’s programs kick off with a Women’s Golf Open House March 6, and the women’s instructional programs begin the week of March 19. Junior programs begin during spring break -- April 16 -- with golf camp week.
“The driving range is open ‘til the sun goes down,” says Jason Beffert, general manager of Lyman Orchards Golf, “So stop by the Golf Center and practice facility and start swinging.”
Join golf enthusiasts near and far on Saturday, March 3, and put a little spring in your swing at Lyman Orchards Golf.
