DALLAS (PRWEB) March 01, 2018 -- M-Files Corporation, the intelligent information management company, announced today that CRN®, a brand of The Channel Company, has named Scott Erickson, SVP of Worldwide Channel Sales at M-Files, to its prestigious list of 2018 Channel Chiefs. The executives on this annual list represent top leaders in the IT channel who excel at driving growth and revenue in their organization through channel partners.
Channel Chief honorees are selected by CRN’s editorial staff on the basis of their professional achievements, standing in the industry, dedication to the channel partner community, and strategies for driving future growth and innovation. Each of the 2018 Channel Chiefs has demonstrated loyalty and ongoing support for the IT channel by consistently promoting, defending and executing outstanding channel partner programs.
Erickson was recognized by CRN for his significant contribution to providing improved training and enablement programs for M-Files partners that have empowered them to win key deals more efficiently. Erickson was also involved in launching the M-Files Certified Application Partner program in 2017, which is designed to provide structure and support to third-party solution developers, as well as value-added resellers (VAR) and Systems Integrators, that are interested in extending the M-Files platform via custom add-ons, integrations and UI enhancements.
In 2017, M-Files also launched a popular new opportunity registration process that allows partners to easily register and claim new sales opportunities, while also more efficiently engage M-Files to assist in moving deals forward faster. M-Files saw partners quickly adopt the new process resulting in better overall pipeline visibility, prioritization of resources and shorter sales cycles.
“The executives on CRN’s 2018 Channel Chiefs list stand out for their exceptional leadership, vision and commitment to the channel,” said Robert Faletra, Executive Chairman of The Channel Company. “These individuals deserve special recognition for their development and support of robust partner programs, innovative business strategy and significant contribution to the overall health of a vigorously growing channel. We applaud each Channel Chief’s impressive record of accomplishments and look forward to their future successes.”
In 2017, M-Files added 70 new partners to its global partner network, now numbering over 600 partners worldwide, while revenue from its partner ecosystem grew by close to 40 percent. Overall, M-Files grew revenue by more than 37 percent in 2017.
“The M-Files partner network has been and continues to be a key driver of our rapid growth. Scott Erickson’s leadership and the world-class channel team we have built have been crucial to its success,” said Miika Mäkitalo, CEO at M-Files Corporation. “Our revenue growth has exceeded 750 percent over the past six years, and that is a direct result of the success of our partner program.”
