Facebook Marketing Agency Abacus Hires Rebecca Brown as Chief Revenue Officer
TORONTO (PRWEB) March 05, 2018 -- Abacus, a VC-backed Facebook and Instagram marketing agency, has bolstered its leadership with the appointment of Rebecca Brown as Chief Revenue Officer.
An agency/ad tech hybrid, Abacus strategizes, executes, optimizes and measures high performance Facebook and Instagram advertising for agency and brand-side clients such as: No Fixed Address, The Body Shop, Nickelodeon, Zag Bank and Grocery Gateway.
Rebecca will help guide Abacus’ overall approach to customer success, beginning with an expansion of the agency’s consulting services to include advanced training for brand managers, planners and creatives. She joins the agency from J. Walter Thompson Canada, where she was the Vice President of Social Media and Content.
“We’re incredibly excited to have Rebecca join our team,” says Peter Reitano, Co-Founder and CEO of the two year old shop. “Since a significant portion of our business comes from full-service agencies, we believe that Rebecca will help us better serve our current partners and attract exciting, forward-thinking new ones.”
“It’s a tough time for our industry. Marketers are under pressure to deliver more growth and spend less. And the marketing ecosystem is increasingly complex, which requires more specialized skill sets,” says Brown.“Abacus exists to do just one thing very well, rather than spreading itself too thin across too many areas of specialization, which makes a ton of
sense.”
Brown is the second C-level appointment at the agency this month, following the promotion of Ian Martins to Chief Operating Officer.
