FR Conversions, Inc., a leading manufacturer of specialty vehicles for commercial, taxi, limo, ambulance and personal mobility markets today announces a partnership with NextWav. Led by owner Matt Ford, a tenured specialty automotive executive, NextWav will become FR’s strategic distribution partner for both domestic and international markets. Mr. Ford, a graduate of Bethel College in Indiana, has 15+ years of senior automotive management experience with BraunAbility and Revability (formerly Eldorado), in addition to prior small business ownership experience in the telecom industry.

NextWav, based out of Scottsdale, AZ, will be responsible for accelerating growth across all vehicle segments that FR manufactures. “We are very pleased to have someone of Matt’s caliber to assist with our product positioning and growth strategies as FR and NextWav grow together,” added Eli Rosenbloom, Founder and CEO of FR Conversions. In addition to his leadership role with NextWav, Matt will serve on the board of directors of FR Conversions and will immediately assist with several projects, including new product development, as FR positions itself further into the consumer mobility market later this year.“These are exciting times for the automotive market and increasingly so for those in the specialty vehicle space. From autonomous driving projects currently underway, to alternative-powered vehicles, to the increasing awareness and demand of Mobility products, the future is bright. I am very excited to join with Eli and the entire FR team to continue accelerating their efforts in bringing innovation and affordability of these products to the market” – Matt Ford, President/CEO, NextWav.

In addition to the current specialty product portfolio that FR Conversions currently offers, they are in development phase of an all new Chrysler Pacifica Mobility vehicle that will help catapult them further into the personal use market. “After years of research and development, we are excited to be nearing the launch phase of our new side-entry personal mobility conversion. This will continue to build on the momentum and early successes that we have had from our recent Type II Ambulance and CUV (Commercial Utility Vehicle) product launches”, added Rosenbloom.
