C.G. Jung Society of the Triangle Presents Dream Tending with Stephen Aizenstat, Ph.D.
Chapel Hill, NC (PRWEB) March 06, 2018 -- The C.G. Jung Society of the Triangle is pleased to present Dream Tending with Dr. Stephen Aizenstat on March 9-10, 2018.
"You were visited by the most amazing dream last night. It spoke to your highest aspiration, your most important secret wish, presenting a vision of the future... But now, in the cold light of day, that inspiring dream is gone forever... or is it?" - Stephen Aizenstat
Dr. Stephen Aizenstat is the Chancellor and Founding President of Pacifica Graduate Institute, Santa Barbara, California, a practicing clinical psychologist, a marriage and family therapist, and the creator of Dream Tending.
For more than 35 years, Dr. Aizenstat has explored the healing capacity of dreams and conducted hundreds of dreamwork seminars and workshops around the world, collaborating with many notable masters in the field, including Joseph Campbell, James Hillman, Marion Woodman, and Robert Johnson.
Dream Tending Lecture
In the Friday evening lecture, Dr. Aizenstat will discuss the Dream Tending method of working with dreams that considers dream images as "living images," alive, full of innate intelligence. He will build on the methods of association, amplification, and animation pioneered by Freud and Jung, and expanded upon by James Hillman and Marion Woodman. By hosting and tending relationships with the living images of dreams we can discover new ways of experiencing life and achieve better psychological and physical health.
Dreams Tending Workshop
In the Saturday workshop, Dr. Aizenstat will demonstrate the practice of Dream Tending by "tending the living image" within the group setting.
