The organizers of eTail West (February 26th - March 1st, 2018), the longest running conference dedicated to the e-commerce and omni-channel retail community, today announced the winners of the 2018 eTail Best-In-Class Awards. The winners were announced at the eTail West conference at a special awards gala on March 1st, 2018 in Palm Springs, CA.
For the past six years, the eTail Best-in-Class Awards has recognized the retailers that have demonstrated excellence in email, search, social media and mobile commerce marketing. This year’s finalists ran the gamut from industry stalwarts like Macy’s, Home Depot, and Guess Jeans to category disruptors that included Spanx, YETI and Glassesusa.com.
The Winners of the 2018 eTail Best-In-Class awards are:
- Website Redesign of the Year Win: Spanx
- On the Go: Best Mobile Site: Macy’s
- Best E-mail Marketing Campaign: ModCloth
- Most Influential Social Campaign: Albertsons
- Best Search Engine Optimizer: The National Notary Association
- Omni-channel Retail Leader: Aldo
- Retail Innovator of the Year: Guess Jeans
- eTail Visionary: John Gonsalves, Taylor Made Golf
- Emerging eTailer: Glassesusa.com
The winner of the newly created eTail Visionary award went to John Gonsalves, the Vice President of Direct to Consumer & Digital for TaylorMade Golf, for the development of ‘The Turn’, an innovative new online subscription-based financing program. Another new category for 2018 was the Emerging eTailer award, which went to Glassesusa.com for disrupting the eyewear industry. The company has secured an average of 3.5 million monthly visitors over the last 6 months, higher than several of its larger competitors including EyeBuyDirect and Warby Parker.
