‘Synergy’ Offers Model for Assessing, Resolving National, Global Conflicts
OTTAWA, Ontario (PRWEB) March 06, 2018 -- Written by executive management consultant Eric Dion, CD, MBA, PhD, “Synergy: A Theoretical Model of Canada’s Comprehensive Approach” (published by iUniverse) is an extensive strategic management analysis and synthesis that proposes an executive-level decision-making model for Canada’s Comprehensive Approach as an integrated, holistic, dynamic tool for assessing and resolving global crises and conflicts.
As the title suggests, the theme of the book is centered on synergy. Based on Dion’s doctoral research, the book provides a new theoretical model for how to achieve and sustain synergy. Dion explains, “‘Synergy’ adopts a strategic management perspective on how to achieve Comprehensive Approach. … 'Synergy' fosters greater collaboration. And: Synergy should be deliberately created and maintained by employing our model.”
Dion felt compelled to research the topic after learning about Canada's and NATO's Comprehensive Approaches, also known as the Integrated Approach within the United Nations, while in charge of Operational Planning for Task Force Kandahar within Regional Command South Headquarters in Afghanistan. The author's vision is that readers will understand the potential of synergy in order to bring about more geopolitical stability.
