On Tuesday, March 20, at 10 a.m., Tobias Reimann, RS - IT Risk and Security, Generali Germany Informatik Services GmbH, will present "A practical implementation of ABAC in a German insurance company." The presentation will cover the evolution from Role Based Access Control (RBAC) to ABAC models, allowing organizations to dynamically assign authorization based on attributes.
During his presentation, Reimann will demonstrate how dynamic authorization moves beyond the identity of the user to grant authorization. Instead, it leverages attributes, such as the position of the user within a company, time of day, location of user, device being used, to decide whether they are authorized to access or not.
