Local Dentist Dr. John D. Kling, II Restoring Smile of Domestic Violence Survivor
ALEXANDRIA, Va. (PRWEB) March 09, 2018 -- After submitting a Proclamation to Mayor Allison Silberberg – The Alexandria Mayor has proclaimed March 4-10, 2018 NO MORE Week in Alexandria, VA. NO MORE Week is a NATIONAL week of grassroots activation, aimed at raising awareness and support for ending domestic violence and sexual assault. A NO MORE event has been organized and the information is listed below. This NO MORE Campaign has been launched to encourage everyone – individuals and organizations alike – to give, talk and activate to unify domestic violence and sexual assault and make these issues a priority year-round.
John Kling II, DDS – an active member of the Give Back a Smile Program through the AACD – is restoring a young woman’s smile that was affected by domestic violence.

Local Dentist DR. JOHN KLING Restoring Smile of Domestic Violence Survivor
Dr. John Kling, a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD), is working to restore the smile and life of a domestic violence survivor who has suffered life-altering dental injuries.
Through the AACD Charitable Foundation’s Give Back a Smile (GBAS) program, volunteer dentists like Dr. John Kling donate their time and skills to restoring survivors’ self-esteem, physical and emotional health by giving them a new smile. Many survivors have lost teeth or experienced other dental problems result from intimate partner violence.
More than 5 million people are affected by domestic violence each year in the U.S. Since its inception, Give Back a Smile has restored more than 1,500 smiles.
