Published by Christian Faith Publishing, JD Munt’s new book shares God’s love. At the age of six, author JD Munt began having a reoccurring dream about Jesus on the Cross. Witnessing the nails in His hands and feet as blood gushed from His body, fear gripped her heart. Jesus then spoke to her. He said, “I am Jesus. I love you so much. You belong to me, and I will never leave you. I will always be with you.” She remembers vividly the gentle kindness of His voice and the peace she felt looking into His beautiful, loving eyes. She wondered how someone could be beaten so badly, yet still be full of so much love.
Her childhood, if it can be called that, was filled with work, abuse, fear, and sadness. It was truly absent of the substance of love. She never experienced affection, positive attention, thoughtfulness, or caring. Nobody ever told her that they loved her. Between the cruelty and meanness of her guardians, however, she received kindness from others. Despite all the evil in her world, she recognized the goodness that could shine through. Her hope came from God, because He was good and full of love.
