Lynnette Waldrep Poole, a thirty-four-year-old writer inspired by her children to publish her original bedtime stories, has completed her book “Dragon Dreams: Book One in the Dream Series”: an enchanting tale celebrating the differences that make each person unique in his or her own way.

Lynnette shares, “Chris is a preteen farm boy, athlete, honor-roll student. He finds a necklace in the attic and puts it on. That night he dreams of being a blue dragon who soars over his small town. When his alarm goes off, interrupting his dream, he wakes up to find he has become a blue dragon. He learns what it is like to be different as he struggles through a typical school day. Once he gets home, he gets to enjoy the benefits of being different. Being a dragon teaches him that there are both joys and trials that come with being different.

This book reminds us to embrace our differences as well as the differences of others while looking through the eyes of a boy who becomes a dragon.”

Published by New York City-based Page Publishing, Lynnette Waldrep Poole’s debut children’s book is a magical story of acceptance and celebration.

Readers who wish to experience this engaging and instructive work can purchase “Dragon Dreams: Book One in the Dream Series” at bookstores everywhere, or online at the Apple iTunes store, Amazon, Google Play, or Barnes and Noble.
