International Association of Women Inducts Gia Gilmour, CHES, Community Support Specialist at Opportunities Unlimited, into its VIP Influencer of the Year Circle

She is recognized with this prestigious distinction for leadership in health education. For more than two years, Ms. Gilmour has held the position of Community Support Specialist at Opportunities Unlimited. Located in the Portland, OR, area, the nonprofit organization provides support and services to adults with diverse abilities. A Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES) with a Bachelor’s degree in Community Health Education from Portland State University, Ms. Gilmour uses her expansive skills and expertise in nonprofit organization, event planning, customer service and health education.
Prior to joining Opportunities Unlimited, Ms. Gilmour held positions at a number of other organizations, including Ballet San Jose, Altawave, Inc., and SiRF Technology, Inc. She was also a member of the Board of Directors of Breast Friends, a nonprofit “dedicated to improving the quality of life for female cancer patients.”
