GoNoodle, the leading kids media and technology company that works with kids, teachers and parents to encourage movement and mindfulness, today named KC Estenson as its new CEO. Estenson will lead the company’s day-to-day operations and accelerate awareness within households worldwide as well as forge strategic partnerships for GoNoodle. Co-founder and former CEO, Scott McQuigg will join the company’s board of directors.
Estenson has a long track record of innovation and business success most recently as SVP and GM of CNN Digital during which usage of CNN's Digital Products more than quadrupled and the profitability of the business more than doubled. Prior to CNN Digital, Estenson spent nearly a decade with Disney as part of the ABC Family where he was on the front lines of defining content and programming for the pre-teen and tween audiences.

Estenson will focus on three priorities:
- Broadening company awareness and bringing GoNoodle into more places kids are, to further grow the business and make parents active partners in how their children use technology.
- Collaborating with like-minded partners, striking strategic partnerships with companies who believe in the GoNoodle mission and want to do good by our children and have a positive impact on society.
- Recalibrating the relationship between children and technology, ensuring the company continues to create content children love and promotes positive use with technology to get at some of the endemic problems in today’s society.

Additionally, the Cook Children’s study showed an average 13 percent improvement in childhood normal weight (as measured by body mass index or BMI) during a three-year period for elementary-age students who attend schools at independent school districts using GoNoodle. Designed with a kids-first approach, GoNoodle content is developed with a cadre of academic and child development experts and comprised of 100s of movement videos and games for use throughout the day.
