SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (PRWEB) March 13, 2018
HEALTHCAREfirst, the leading provider of web-based home health and hospice software, billing and coding services, CAHPS surveys, and advanced analytics, announced today that Brad Caldwell, Executive Vice President of Sales, has been selected to serve as a member of the 2018 Advisory Board for the Home Care Technology Association of America (HCTAA).
Established in 2005, HCTAA is an affiliated association of the National Association for Home Care and Hospice (NAHC) and advises the NAHC Board of Directors. Its mission is to advocate for the advancement, use, and accessibility of technology in the home setting. HCTAA advocates for the adoption of health IT standards and clinical measures that support care coordination, patient-centered care, and the interoperable exchange of health information. It also provides education and information to policy makers and home care providers about the benefits of the use of technology.
The Advisory Board is comprised of technology, home care and hospice agency executives and is the chief policy-making body of HCTAA, establishing policies for managing the affairs of the Association.
Caldwell brings more than 20 years of experience in home health and hospice technology to the advisory board. In his current role at HEALTHCAREfirst, he focuses on maximizing strategic business opportunities and expanding market share for the company’s products and services. He is a former member of the Board of Directors for the Home Care Association of Florida and Connected Healthcare Solutions.
“I am excited to join industry leaders on the HCTAA Advisory Board,” said Caldwell. “Technology enables home health and hospice agencies to automate tasks that enable them to make timely and accurate decisions for quality patient care and to adapt quickly to regulatory changes.
