LOS ANGELES (PRWEB) March 20, 2018 -- Adams|Stirling PLC, California’s premier law firm dedicated to residential and commercial associations, is pleased to announce that attorney Laurie Poole has joined the firm as our newest partner. Ms. Poole brings with her 25 years as an attorney in the HOA industry.
Laurie is a member of the prestigious College of Community Association Lawyers (CCAL) and was recently elected to its Board of Governors. Laurie is a member of CCAL’s Amicus Review Committee and devotes time to shaping laws governing California community associations. Laurie has had a significant impact on the case law governing California’s community associations.
Through her efforts, nine California appellate decisions have become published case law. Ms. Poole was appellate counsel in Quail Lakes v. Kozina (2012), trial and appellate counsel in Mission Shores Association v. Phiel (2008), and trial counsel in Fourth La Costa Condominium Owners Association v. Seith (2008).
Laurie’s work on behalf of associations includes service as President of the San Diego chapter of the Community Associations Institute. She is in much demand as a speaker and writer including for the California Association of Community Managers.
Laurie has extensive experience representing common interest developments including master planned communities, large condominium projects, mixed-use and highrise developments. The majority of her practice involves interpreting and amending governing documents, advising association boards, enforcing governing documents, addressing insurance issues.
Laurie graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara where she graduated with a double major in English and Sociology. She then attended the University of San Diego, School of Law where she was a member of the Law Review.
