The hometown apparel company which has been in existence since 2005 recently launched its own e-commerce portal. Up until now, the brand and its hometown apparel concept had been selling custom-designed hometown-tees on third party e-commerce websites.
With this relaunch, Origin Clothing has shifted its mission from simply selling hometown t-shirts to telling the stories of unique countries, cities, towns and villages using its custom designed apparel. As much as possible, the company attempts to stay away from the cookie-cutter hometown t-shirt designs that currently flood the web and focuses more on unique designs. What further sets the brand apart is it’s international focus as opposed to the primarily domestic market catered to by its competitors.
“Our customers can expect our designs to improve significantly from where they were when we sold on third party sites.” said the company’s founder Jonathan Awotwi. “With our new site comes a deeper dive into the hometown apparel concept which embodies our passion for different cultures and the stories that come with them”, he added.
With this relaunch, the company has also expanded its offering from just t-shirts to hoodies, sweatshirts, babies’ onesies and kids apparel.
