Eating Recovery Center Opens Mood and Anxiety Intensive Treatment Program in Seattle; Expands Eating Disorder Treatment Program
SEATTLE (PRWEB) March 14, 2018 -- Eating Recovery Center announces today the opening of its mood and anxiety program in Seattle, Washington. Insight Behavioral Health Center, a provider of comprehensive treatment for mood and anxiety disorders, will provide treatment to patients 18 years of age and older through partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs. In addition to mood and anxiety, the program will also treat trauma-related stress as well as support comorbid, co-occurring, and dual diagnoses, including substance use disorders. Programs for substance abuse disorder as a secondary treatment is set to begin in the spring of 2018.
Eating Recovery Center is also expanding its eating disorder treatment program into the Seattle market. With a facility currently in Bellevue, the new Seattle location will offer eating disorder treatment for those suffering from anorexia nervosa, bulimia, binge eating disorder (BED), avoidant restrictive food intake disorder (ARFID), among others. The treatment program will include a Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) and an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP). The PHP program will offer comprehensive support services 11 hours a day, seven days a week. IOP programming will consist of five days a weeks, 3.5 hours a day, with a part time option of three days a week, three hours a day. For those transitioning from PHP to IOP, the program is available up to six days a week.

Like Eating Recovery Center, the Seattle Insight center will have two levels of programming, including PHP and IOP. The PHP will offer comprehensive support services eight hours per day, seven days a week. The IOP will provide similar services with three hours of programming per day, three to six days a week. Services include:
- Acceptance and Commitment Therapy curriculum
- Dialectical Behavior Therapy skill training
- Exposure and Response Prevention groups
- Expressive and movement therapies
- Nutrition support from registered dietitians
- Family Programming
- Daytime psychiatric support and medication management as needed
- Weekly communication with outpatient providers
