IAUA assists in the enactment of laws and regulations pertaining to insurance appraisers and umpires that are enacted by the U.S. Government, the Florida Legislature and/or the Department of Financial Services. IAUA improves the understanding of the insurance appraisal process by educating umpires, appraisers, government bodies, and other interested parties surrounding case law, proposed legislation and member professional experience. IAUA provides ongoing networking, education and universal forms and procedures to facilitate the expedient and proper handling of insurance appraisals.
