Glenn Dougherty, founder and agency principal of the Dougherty Insurance firm in Chicago, is releasing information on a charity event taking place over the next three months to help pay for transportation services needed by children in the region who are receiving treatment for cancer. Donations from the event will be given to nonprofit Compass to Care.

“Compass to Care inspires us to make a difference for our community through their dedication to ensure every child has an equal chance at cancer treatment,” said Dougherty.

The Dougherty team is asking all Chicago residents to be part of the charity event by sending friends or family members into Dougherty Insurance for a no obligation quote on a new policy. For every person referred, the firm will provide a direct monetary donation to Compass to Care.
