“Grief, The Year of Firsts”: a potent book filled with evoking events that reflect a life of heavy emotional setbacks. “Grief, The Year of Firsts” is the creation of published author, Teresia Plott, a first-time author who worked as a physical therapist’s assistant.
Teresia shares, “I pray and read my Bible. I don’t cry and want Eddie to come back to pain and hurt. I cry because I miss him. You can’t be with someone for thirty-two years and all of a sudden, he is gone. Part of me is missing, and I don’t know what to do or say. I always thought I was tougher than what I am. I’m not tough at all. I love Eddie Plott. He was my first love. He made me laugh, and I know I will laugh again. I want to gut laugh and be silly for a moment, but right now I cry.”
Published by Christian Faith Publishing, Teresia Plott’s new book shows the poignant side of life as well as a life filled with compassion and love.
Plott’s book conveys a message of appreciation for the little things in life and to never take for granted every second of it. Healing may take a while, but with support from those who care so much, pain becomes bearable and life goes on.
