Total Safety Announces 21ST Annual HELPING HEROES Charity Golf Tournament and 2nd Annual Sporting Clay’s Competition
HOUSTON, Texas (PRWEB) March 14, 2018 -- Total Safety, a leading global provider of integrated industrial safety services, is pleased to announce its 21st Annual HELPING HEROES Charity Event will take place on Tuesday, May 22, 2018 in San Antonio, Texas. The event will include both golf and sporting clays tournaments, and all proceeds help support “everyday heroes” whose mission is to improve the lives of children, families, and service men and women. Beneficiaries of the 2018 event include: Combat Marine Outdoors, Sky High, and Krysta’s Karing Angels.
To date, the HELPING HEROES Charity Event has donated more than $1M to benefiting charitable organizations. The goal for 2018 is to reach $1.25M in cumulative dollars donated.
“This event is one of the highlights of our year,” said Paul Tyree, President – Global Business Units for Total Safety. “To see the industry come together for a common purpose is inspiring, and to be the catalyst for that makes us extremely proud. Our partners and sponsors support this event year-after-year because they know their participation makes a difference in the lives of others. We are confident the 2018 event will surpass our expectations and, collectively, we will meet or exceed our goal for the benefiting organizations.”
The HELPING HEROES Charity Event provides funds that help the three beneficiaries succeed in their individual missions: Combat Marine Outdoors provides resources that help wounded veterans; Sky High provides resources for the families of children suffering from cancer and other life-threatening conditions; and Krysta’s Karing Angels provides public education on the life-altering dangers of drinking and driving.
Festivities for the 21st Annual HELPING HEROES Charity Event begin the evening prior to the tournament with a Welcome Reception on Monday, May 21st. The golf tournament will be held at La Cantera Resort and Spa on the Resort and Palmer courses in San Antonio. The sporting clays competition will take place at Joshua Creek Ranch in Boerne, TX. Both events will include breakfast, refreshments during play, and lunch with awards presentation at the conclusion.
