Dealer Marketing Services, Inc., the makers of ProMax announced today that they have completed the integration of General Motors’ Vehicle Locator Service (VLS) and Vehicle Invoice Service (VIS) features into their ProMax software platform. GM franchise dealers that utilize ProMax can now directly access all GM DTAP (Dealer Technology Assistance Program) features from within ProMax and ProMax Mobile. Last year, ProMax added data integrations with GM Dealer Customer Data Exchange (DCDE) and Vehicle Pricing Service (VPS), and began participation in GM’s iMR Turnkey Vendor Program as a ‘Premium CRM’.

The GM Vehicle Locator Service (VLS) and Vehicle Invoice Service (VIS) enable users to find vehicles and vehicle information with ease, all from within the dealership’s ProMax system. Dealers can also find a certain vehicle at another dealership and access more GM-specific details about their inventory. Users can search by VIN, Stock #, or Year Make Model Style, and can narrow results with custom search filters for nearly every possible variable. From the search results, users can view reports, compare vehicles, and break down all the available options. Vehicle Invoice Service (VIS) builds on VLS and goes a step further, enabling the dealership to view the invoice and full production record of every vehicle.
