Caroline Cutmore Announces Marketing Campaign for Debut Book, ‘The Crows of Spooky Wood’
COWBEECH, England (PRWEB) March 15, 2018 -- Caroline Cutmore’s first children’s novel in a planned adventure series, “The Crows of Spooky Wood: Book One” (published by AuthorHouse UK) introduces the reader to the world of Spooky Wood, featuring a special group of crows that call themselves “The Scavengers.” Cutmore is embarking on a marketing campaign to expand the book’s reach.
Cutmore’s book is intended to be “the perfect bedtime story for a younger child or a compelling chapter novel for the older, junior reader.” She states, “It will make you smile and may even make you shed a tear but, at the end you will definitely have become completely absorbed into the crow’s special, strange World above the tree tops!”
The murder of crows, with the invaluable assistance of Sniper, the gamekeeper’s dog and their irrepressible and unforgettable Gran, embark upon an adventure to solve two mysteries at once. Their mission is to discover the whereabouts of the recently abducted baby crows and also to locate, once and for all, the site and indeed inhabitant, of the long-lost Grave of Spooky Wood, an old tale told to them as a bedtime story by their elderly neighbor.
“The Crows of Spooky Wood” is a mix of old style novel writing with a “sprinkling of a modern magic.” “It is full of twists and turns that will keep even an adult reader guessing what will happen until the end,” Cutmore says, adding that the book was heartily recommended in a Pacific Book Review. Cutmore hopes the book and the others to follow will encourage all children to explore the great outdoors and have fun in the countryside.
