Soft-Tex Mattress Division Announces 102% Growth in Bed-in-a-Box Mattress Sales
NEW YORK (PRWEB) March 19, 2018 -- Soft-Tex International is proud to announce that its mattress division has more than doubled in 3 years seeing a unit sales growth of 102% in memory foam, bed-in-a-box mattresses comparing 2015 to 2017 results.
The growth was driven by Soft-Tex’s deepened business in the furniture retail channel, big box retail, as well as partnerships with several ecommerce mattress companies.
Soft-Tex’s results starkly contrast the larger industry trend which according to data from the International Sleep Products Association’s (ISPA) sample of leading manufacturers, mattress sales contracted by 8% in 2017 from 2015 levels.
“It’s clear from our results that our approach to bed-in-a-box mattress programs is second to none,” said John Timmerman, VP of Soft-Tex’s Mattress Division. “From combining 100% CertiPUR-US® certified foams and our proprietary iCOOL Technology System® and other cooling technologies in the construction of our mattresses with attractive fabrics and cover designs, we’ve been able to build quality products at very attractive retail prices and the proof is in our results,” added Timmerman.
