American Academy of Thermology (AAT) Announces Details for 2018 Annual Meeting & Scientific Session Oct. 13-14 in Greenville, SC
GREENVILLE, S.C. (PRWEB) March 19, 2018 -- The American Academy of Thermology (AAT), which is the premiere organization in North America for the scientific development, healthcare training and clinical application of medical infrared imaging, has announced details for its 2018 Annual Meeting & Scientific Session, which will take place on October 13-14 in Greenville, SC at the Bon Secours St. Francis Hospital campus at the Bernadine Center. A pre-meeting Physicians Medical Thermology Interpretation course will be held at the same location on October 12.
Key highlights of the 2018 Annual Meeting & Scientific Session include:
• A keynote address on medical thermology by former AAT President Phillip Geston, DO.
• Multiple workshops and case studies from the AAT Atlas of Abnormals delivered by many noted healthcare professionals including Dr. Luciane Balbinot, MD, PhD, Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil.
• Updates on AAT Neuro-musculoskeletal and Breast Guidelines delivered by AAT Chairman of the Board Robert G. Schwartz, MD.
Attendees will also be invited to network with their peers and AAT leadership at a special “Meet and Mingle Reception” on the evening of October 13 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Greenville, SC.
Further, on Sunday, October 14 a Special Thermographer’s Workshop will be held entitled: “Ambassadors to Thermography: a Guide to Help You Find A Physician Audience and Interpreter,” which is designed to help all thermographers enhance their practice.
The AAT’s 2018 Annual Meeting & Scientific Session is planned and implemented in accordance with the Essential Areas and Policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME). Application for CME is pending.
