Nike Baseball Camps to Send Two Teams on Dominican Republic Camp Tour

Nike Baseball Camps and Legacy Sports Group have teamed up to send two baseball teams to the Dominican Republic that will train and compete against local youth baseball teams.

This will be an exciting way to learn about the Dominican Republic’s culture while playing the great game of baseball.

MLB Chicago Cubs Scout and Veteran Nike Baseball Camps Director Tom Myers assisted by coach Alex Hoover will be coaching a 12U and 14U team for this tour.

“Nike Baseball has created a tremendous opportunity for players, parents and coaches to visit a beautiful Caribbean nation that is very passionate about the game of baseball. This will be an exciting way to learn about the Dominican Republic’s culture while playing the great game of baseball,” states Tom Myers, Director.

Baseball activities will include elite training and competition against teams in the area. Campers will participate in practices and play 6 games against at Major League facilities in the Dominican Republic. Each team will have 25 players per team and space will be filled by position.

This baseball camp vacation will be at an all-inclusive resort for 8 days/7 nights in the Dominican Republic. Parents and family members are encouraged to travel with their camper and stay at the same resort. Those attending will be staying at the Dreams Punta Cana Resorts and Spa with an all-inclusive meal and drink package. Airfare is not included in camp tuition but, Legacy Sports Group will offer competitive rates from specific airports.
