Stephen Jones and Merlin Contracting Named 2017 National Custom Home Builder of the Year
LAS VEGAS (PRWEB) March 22, 2018 -- Stephen “Steve” Jones, Founder & CEO of Merlin Contracting, Las Vegas, along with his partner and brother, Bart Jones, and the entire Merlin staff, was recently honored as the 2017 National Custom Home Builder of the Year by the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB). Sponsored by Sherwin-Williams™, the award was presented during the NAHB International Builders’ show held in Orlando, FL.
Presented annually by the NAHB, a federation of more than 700 state and local associations with more than 140,000 members, the Custom Home Builder of the Year award recognizes honorees for their professionalism, leadership, innovation and creativity in crafting unique custom homes. Jones and the Merlin team were recognized for the company’s craftsmanship and innovation in creating “dream homes” for clients, as well as their integrity and leadership within the local community.

During each of the past six years, Merlin Contracting has completed two custom homes ranging in value from $1.8 million to $10.2 million, as well as averaging six custom remodels ranging in value up to $9.5 million and three custom highrise unit remodels ranging up to $15.2 million. Several of the projects have been featured in national publications, including the Wall Street Journal and Architectural Digest.
Jones built Merlin Contracting on a commitment to maintaining the highest quality building standards and treating people with integrity, respect and compassion. He and Bart are well known in the region and their contemporaries have applauded their way of conducting business as well as their steadfast commitment to excellence.
