"Techs will love the simplicity of going between the apps with a touch of a button” ~Greg Dooley, Vice President of Customer Success
BUFFALO, New York (PRWEB) March 22, 2018
Pointman, developers of SWRemote and leaders in field service technology, announced a new feature release for SWRemote adding two widgets to connect to their proposal building app, Acquire, and their paperless form building app, Scout. SWRemote has interacted with these apps in the past, but now it is linked to each allowing a seamless integration between the two. All of these apps can be fully utilized from a tablet or smartphone, while keeping in sync with their back office. Now they can also fully communicate with each other. The widgets look like buttons that can open the corresponding app, allowing the user to feel like they are staying in the native app.
Both of these apps are now linked into SWRemote, the mobile application to Successware®21. SWRemote gives technicians the power to manage jobs, customer information, and price lists, and receive dispatching updates from a tablet or smartphone. This mobility allows users to complete all work in the field. The software is synced with back office operations information in real time allowing employees to have access to the most recent and relevant data.
Acquire is Pointman’s proposal building app that produces professional proposals and presentations. Custom proposals are made at the job site by using pre-loaded templates, part numbers, pricing, discounts and additional data. Field techs can create several proposal options in a ‘Good, Better, Best’ style for the customer to select. Every proposal is available as a professional quality pdfs for customers to review. Once a proposal is accepted, it is converted to an invoice ready to be filed in SWRemote, and the back office through the Successware®21 software.
The paperless forms and work order app by Pointman is Scout. Scout produces professional pdfs while taking detailed notes in the field. Custom forms can be made at the job site by using templates, or starting from scratch. Forms are designed to gather all information relevant to a company from the field. Technicians can take pictures, add data tables, take notes, and complete checklists to make sure each job is finished effectively. This integration allows SWRemote to import completed forms from Scout. The form is filed in SWRemote, and the back office through the Successware®21 software.
The update will also sync the customer information from SWRemote to Acquire or SWRemote to Scout allowing all relevant information from SWRemote customer files to be available in Acquire or Scout. This feature eliminates all double entry between the apps. Designed for a user-friendly experience, the integration now lets the user feel as if they remain in the native app (whether SWRemote or Acquire) as they complete their jobs in the field.
